The Klamath Dream Steelhead Fly
The Klamath Dream fits into the category of "attractor" fly; it's colorful, and when conditions are right--that is to say when the fish decide to hit it-- this is a top producer. While named for the famous West Coast river, Klamath, the fly was developed in southeastern Wisconsin on the Root and Milwaukee Rivers as a steelhead lure. It also works for smallmouth bass. You can get tying instructions--if you need them, given the detail on the illustration above--by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Three I at 2400 East Bradford #803 Milwaukee WI 53211. You'll get a Klamath Dream also if you enclose two and a half dollars.
